My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room, although it never got changed to two beds as requested, was gigantic and well-appointed, providing a decent experience. The journey to the hotel from Lafayette, LA was extended to 6 hours due to horrible weather conditions, but once there, it was a comfortable stay.

My trip from Lafayette, LA to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites would normally take 4 hours but ended up being 6 hours due to horrible weather. The room was in a different building from the breakfast room, so walking across outside in the freezing rain at 7 am for breakfast wasn't ideal.
